Do You Need Someone To Proofread Your Sermons For You?

| More

Digital Sermon Transcription provides comprehensive, accurate sermon proofreading services at affordable rates. We offer both before and after proofreading services. That means we can proofread your Power Point sermon notes before the sermon is preached, or if your sermons are transcribed by volunteers in your church after the sermon is preached, we can proofread that transcript with or without the audio sermon to ensure an accurate, professional transcript.

Standard Proofreading Services
Your sermon will be proofread for the following types of errors:
  • Spelling
  • Capitalization
  • Punctuation
  • Grammar
  • Typographical
  • Scripture References
  • Run-On Sentences
  • Sentence/Paragraph Organization

Premium Proofreading Services

In addition to correcting errors, we can also improve the appearance of your sermons by adding a custom header and footer and by bolding, italicizing, and coloring your Scripture references blue and red. This

makes them easy to find and also clarifies the difference between a

direct biblical quote and a pastor's paraphrase of a verse. Click here to

The DST Difference

What sets us apart from general proofreading services is our understanding of the unique style of Christian writing. For example, we know the word gospel should be capitalized when referring to one of the four Gospels in the New Testament, but it should be left lowercased when used in the context of good news. Likewise, God has given us His Word (the Bible), but He has given us His word (promise).

We use The Christian Writer's Manual of Style as a general guide, but at the same time, we are flexible and responsive to the individual style preferences of each pastor. For example, some pastors prefer to have Trinity pronouns capitalized, and others prefer to leave them lowercased as found in the King James Bible.

We also look up every Scripture reference made in a sermon. If you accidentally said Galatians but meant to say Ephesians, we'll fix it. If you accidentally said the wrong chapter or verse numbers, we'll correct them as well. Lastly, if you say Elijah, and our research clearly shows you meant to say Elisha, we'll change the name.

If you find the same level of accuracy and quality of service for a better price

somewhere else, let us know, and we will match their price.
